Overtime Work
✔️ Allowed for audits, financial closings and exceptional workload
✔️ Must be voluntary
💰 150% pay (daytime) | 200% (10PM–5AM)
Work on Paid Public Holidays
✔️ Only if operations can’t be paused
✔️ Must be voluntary
💰 Paid at normal working day rate
Suspension of Weekly Day off
✔️ Emergencies (accidents, repairs) or bad weather (only 2 days per month and cannot be consecutive)
✔️ Not allowed for women or individual under 18 years old
✔️ Leave, if replaced, must be replaced within 30 days
💰 200% pay
What does the employer need to do?
📥 Submit request on MLVT portal ≥ 3 working days in advance
📝 Include reason, relevant dates, employee count and consent from: 2/3 shop stewards or 51% of affected staff (if no shop steward)
